Brown out in NY ?

Last year DeMario Brown had 1,109 yards rushing and caught 88 passes for 914 yards in a brilliant 2000 yard combined season.  This year Brown finished the season with just 61 yards rushing and 74 receiving !  A huge comedown.  Brown has had injuries and is unhappy he wasnt used more when healthy, Brown is contemplating retirement.

No ints

Every season CB Jeremy LeSuer of the Monarchs had had an interception and is ranked in the top 5 of all time, this year is the first season he has never had an interception as teams threw away from him.

Streaks

Matthew Hatchette increased his streak of 1000 yard seasons to an amazing 9 seasons !  He hopes to make it 10 next year if given the chance.  Galaxy QB Rohan Davey has thrown for 3000 or more yards every season in his career 9 straight seasons and is ranked 7th all time in passing yards.  A 3000 yard season next year should put him in the top 5.

It was a disapointing season for Demario Brown.  He was given the ball the second game of the year after Riggs, Jnr. failed in his starting role for the second straight year.  On his first carry, he broke his leg missing the next 6 games.  He was put in as the back up to Quincy Wilson who had a good year his first attempt at starting halfback.  Demario was again used as the starter and was injured for the remainder of the season.  We were all disapointed with his injuires this year, probably the main reason for the poor record as the quarterbacks had to pass more.  We will see what Demario's plans are in the off season.

If the All-FWL quarterback Phil Stambaugh retires after a great career, Chris Leak will assume the quarterback role as he had a great game in his first start.  He is the future of the Knights team and management is pleased with his progress.  The search for a halfback that dominates the game continues.  Quincy Wilson did a great job, but it is still unknown if he can be an everyday starter.  He is an all pro full back.

Defense will be the name of the game for the draft next year.  The Knights secondary was improved this year with some key CB and S additions.  S Josh Gattis, a rookie, had a great season with lots of tackles.  The Knights may be one great Linebacker away from an incredible defense.  DT Hand started at DT for several games and showed that he has what it takes to be an everyday starter with DT Tollefson.  Defensive ends are solid also.

Hatchette will be the number one WR again next year as he continues to shine as one of the best ever.  He will be joined by a young corps of talented recievers.  Hopes are high for next year and a return to the playoffs.

Apologies, forgot about DeMarios injury.  Then when he came back to start again he was injured yet again wasnt he !

Great to hear about Hatchette, if a veteran performs well then just start him, sometimes the skills eg SP 88 AC 87 etc dont matter so much, its how he does on the field.  Some players might look great on paper but do nothing in games, other great players (eg Hatchette) just perform week after week.

Does have a chance to break the all time record if he carries on starting him.  Good on you !  A fair few GMs' would bench some veterans if their skills decline but Hatchette still does well

9 straight 1000 yard seasons !
