Only just realised that my young former #1 draft pick DT Lamanzer Williams who had 7 sacks in Season 11 wasnt on any roster this season ?!?

I checked the retirements from last year, i had 8 retirements but none of them were Williams.

Plus on the FWL files i loaded up after retirements Lamanzar Williams in his 2nd year was still on my roster ?!

He was there after training camp, i have some files called 'before changes' which were changes we did before Week 1 to change the stats slightly.  On those files hes there, but after the changes were made and before Week 1 hes off my roster !

He was my former #1 draft pick (http://www.fwl.org.uk/drafteos9.htm) and was on my roster last season (http://www.fwl.org.uk/teams11.htm#A5)

Cant believe i didnt notice until right now.

Unsure what to do about this, firstly how did he disappear ??!?  Secondly should i add him back Huh  If i create another player the same he wont sadly have his old historical stats though (7 sacks).

Any ideas ?!?

I would vote that you can bring back the player.
Who knows what team will be next in loosing a player that way and
if it is a program fault, then its not 'real' in a league sense.

That it did happen to Paul first (at least the first time noticed)
should not prevent us from correcting that error.

That you loose 7 sacks in your stats with a new player is bad, but
I dont see a way around it. Because you can only unretire players
that are retired at the end of the season.

bye and tschuess,
Marco

i remember i GOT an OL this season that nobody knew. took me weeks to find out where he came from....

don´t know what to suggest either. Did he get an "end of carreer injury" (i know that exists in FBPRO!) so taht could explain that he is not displayed on the retirement-list

Well thankfully his career totals (something like 23 tackles and 7 sacks) are quite low and he probably wont ever be challenging the career sack total.  But he was a vital piece of my defense, saying that i cant believe i noticed until i looked at the old rosters !

I've added him back to my roster as i think thats fair with the same stats he had after training camp last season.  When i add his career stats to alltime.htm i'll just put for last season 'did not play'.  I'll just pretend he had a season ending injury after training camp.

Even though i missed his play last year (without ahem noticing !) he would have been starting though had i had him on my team as his ST and AG puts him in my top 4 DE/DT's.

Weird that happened, just keep an eye out on your roster next season just in case.  Funny how it happened to me though !

after a missing player, I notice that Pro Football can do funny with the age of players: WR Looker was a 2 year player in season 11 and 12

Good point, never realised that.  Might have to add an extra year on for Looker then
