- Despite the huge loss Sacramento DT Lamanzer Williams was amazing with 11 tackles and 2 sacks

- Veteran Jim Turner (NY) continues to amaze and had 11 catches for 125 yards and moves into 5th place all time with 705 catches

- Despite a tough loss Orlando QB Tony Romo was MVP of the Week with 2 td's passing and another td on the ground

- Newcomer Dequincy Scott continued his fine form in his first game with Ohio with 3 sacks

- New Ohio DT Jeff Haguza didnt have a single tackle or sack on Sunday but with Orlando double teaming Haguza it opened it up for the rest of the d-line

- Rob Adamson started his first game since the season opener last year, he injured his knee and was out for the year in that game, 12 sacks against him in Week 1 must have made him think it might happen again

- 4 turnovers for Riders QB Michael Bishop in Week 1, however he still won the game.  Pressure to start a new QB though ??

- 5 Mexico players had 2 sacks in Week 1, the young defense is looking awesome to say the least.

- Come back Greg White !  Raleigh had just 1 sack in Week 1 and that was by a LB, the whole d-line registered 0 sacks and newcomer Jesse Webb had just 1 tackle

- Brilliant game for Frankfurt HB Jonas Lewis in Week 1, only two RB's had over 100 yards and Lewis had 127 to lead the league and averaged 6.7 yards !

- Who said they would fail ?!  Nate Hybl and HB Avon Cobourne had great games in Week 1, can they carry that form on ?

- Who said veterans cant play ?  8th year pro LB Brad Rekuc at LB3 had a brilliant game with 7 tackles and 3 sacks from his OLB position.

- Heath Rylance who ?  Amsterdam QB Joe Hamilton was sensational in Week 1 with an 82.9 completion rate hitting 29 of 35 passes !

- What happened to the Scotland offensive line ?  7 sacks allowed and just 98 yards rushing by the reigning FWL Champs !

- Watch out Dameyune Craig, despite a great scramble, 53% completion rate and 2 interceptions and a fumble will send you to the bench.

- 2 sacks ?  Just 2 sacks by the DarkKnights with the best d-line in football isnt good enough

- Poor Robert Edwards, we feel for you, behind that offensive line no one could gain any yards whoever they are

- When it works its great, when it doesnt its terrible !  Montreal go for a fake punt tied 16-16 in the 4Q in London territory and fail and London then take the lead.  Birmingham on their OWN 39 yard line throw a pass in overtime and its complete for a 57 yard gain and the Fire win soon after, fail and NY probably will win and the offensive co ordinator of Birmingham fired !  Huge plays in Week 1
