Title: AFC WILDCARD-GAMES: ORL@MON Post by: Mario ADK on May 11, 2005, 07:13:57 AM GAME4:
Orlando@Montreal Record this season: 0-2 (10-24 @ Montreal; week 8 and 17-24 @ Orlando, week10) The Machine is a force at home (6-1-0) and everything but a win would be very disappointing for GM-Guru David Harwood who brought the Machine back from the dead just to form an unbeatable force. The current FWL-Champ relies on the leagues best defense, featuring DB-superstar Brian Russel (6 INT) and a steel-curtain on the D-line-position (2nd against rush). Lead by QB Danny Wurfell the Offense has spread weapons who can hurt any team at any stage of a game. The Thunders problem is the defense. A PO-team which is just 15th in yards against and just 9th in sacks will have a tough time to overcome a playoff-battle. Everything releis on the offense where QB-vetern Denten will probalby miss WR1 Uwaezouke, his favourite target. That could be a huge setback for GM Volker Sorge. If HB Simonton cannot get rid of his fumblitis it could be a long day for the Thunder, who rank just 14th in interceptions as well (Montreal: 2nd) Stats (Rank): Team Passing: ORL 4th; MON 5th Team Rushing: ORL 8th; MON 2nd Team Sacks: ORL 9th; MON 7th Team Yards allowed: ORL 15th; MON 1st Kreiners prediction: Montreal by 13 Title: Re: AFC WILDCARD-GAMES: ORLANDO THUNDER @ MONTREAL MACHINE Post by: Andrew-Neutral on May 11, 2005, 07:25:03 AM Mario, quickly edit your post before anyone notices that you've got the teams mixed up!

Title: Re: AFC WILDCARD-GAMES: ORL@MON Post by: Paul-London on May 11, 2005, 10:12:44 AM The computer messed up and said San Antonio play at Orlando. I edited this myself on the stand.htm page but not others, eg sinjury.htm and sched.htm.
My guess was that people look at stand.htm for the next weeks games and i also put it on the website myself. New York has the number one seed (as they beat Montreal) so it should play the 'weakest' wildcard team. Orlando beat San Antonio so they win the tiebreaker so the AFC is... 1) New York 2) Montreal 3) Orlando 4) San Antonio So as thats all set in stone it should be SA at NY and Orlando at Montreal. David has fixed the FWL files for me so those will be the games taking place on Monday. |
