Title: QB's
Post by: David-Montreal on August 31, 2005, 03:31:30 PM
Glad to see Montreal QB's doing well in the FWL... naturally we can't have 4 starters.... however 3 of 4 are ranked 1-2-3 in QB rating.

1) Phil Stambaugh (NY)
Never really could find a roster spot for him as we had Pawlawski.  Good career in NY to say the least as he is currently ranked #1 in rating.

2) Danny Wuerffeul (MON)
What can you say... much better in Fantasy life than real life, thank God.  Currently ranked #2 in rating.

3) Michael Bishop (SAT)
Everyone likes Bishop... not sure why... probably because at Kansas State, he was able to beat all those Big-12 teams you hate.  Anyway, traded him away to Jas for Pawlawski, mostly because he liked Bishop more.  Currenly ranked #3 in rating.

4) Mike Pawlawski (OHI)
One of my top-5 favorite QB's (Indoor)... traded away last season to Ohio and glad he is finally able to start.  Currently ranked #11 in rating.

Record-holder Curt Anes is brought down to earth this season even if Austria is having a much improved team. Not that he is playing badly, no: He still connects 67,9% of his passes but he just cannot convert red-zone-possibilities into TDs. It is horrible that i had to settle down for 10FGs in 3 games and taht Anes only threw 1 TD-pass. (I am not worried about his interception, that can happen......)

More than that Anes only sees two targets: WR Hatchette and HB Jackson. He never passes the ball to my excellent WR2 Moore or to my equally excellent WR3 Bell or to TE Watson (i am not talking of catches but of passes as i read the play-play and track this. He just does not send the ball over to them, just once in a while....)

Strange.

But as long as i am winning i won´t change my game-plan as it is working and has been working against tough defenses like Rhein and Ohio.
