Title: Note for Season 16
Post by: Paul-London on April 28, 2006, 03:02:52 AM
I obviously get a lot of emails with at times a lot of roster changes.

A lot of GM's seem to send me changes where they want a player inactive but they want to change what position he is, eg a C, G or T or a DE/DT etc etc.

If a player is inactive that means they wont be playing in the game so it doesnt matter what position you change them to. So its a bit of a waste for me to do that, so starting next year any inactive players i wont be changing their positions.  Its obviously important to have players change position if theyre A(ctive) or O(pen active) but Inactive theres just no point.

So if you send me your list and put C4 I Pete Smith (was a T) i wont do those changes as theyre not necessary.

I think you are talking my FWL-BOWL-moves, BUT: That was not intended but there is a reason for it - which even makes sense:

i always FIRST think of which player schould play at which position and THEN look at the roster and decide who should be on the i-list. And as i shuffled several players around in the O-line i could not decid at first sight wheter - for example - the C3 - who was converted to a G4 - should be on the I-list or not. I just make a list and see what is best for my team....

sorry for the inconvinience anyway....

Its not just you, i get a fair few during the season but yes yours did prompt me to make the post !

How you described it i understand , like i say other times i see things on lists from other people saying G4 to T4 I and theres just no point.  Can understand you may change your positions first then work out the Inactives, either way any inactives i see with changes i wont do as theres just no need
