25/5 - The league files are with David Harwood at the moment who is kindly going to enter a large set of rookies into the files. Once he does that i'll change the names (Or Niki might ;) from ones from the past NFLE draft and change a few attributes but not many. Once that is done and the rookie list will be publiished. Last year i did feel the rookies werent that strong so i increased a lot but in the end that made things worse as in a few years time some of these players will be super rookies So this year the crop wont be as strong, i of course want some instant starters as i want the draft to be real but dont expect 3 starters from your top 3 picks in the rounds etc. Once the draft list is done we'll organise a time for a 'live draft' and then its training camp and off we go for Season 16 Title: Re: League update Post by: Niki on May 30, 2006, 04:27:23 AM 25/5 - The league files are with David Harwood at the moment who is kindly going to enter a large set of rookies into the files. David has his own draft and rookie files to create so thats obviously his main priority, the good news is that as he has done that for his league it may be easier for him to integrate those with our files. I probably say it every offseason but next season i'll try and get things started about Week 10 so once its the offseason theres not a huge long wait. But its the worst thing to do (the rookies) so there will be a bit of time doing this anyway. Once all the hard work is done (Thanks mainly to David/Niki) then we start with the new season quite soon after that |
