TE BLIZZARD MOVES TO SCOTLAND

In a surprise move Bobby Blizzard rated as one of the top TE's in the league is traded to Scotland for a 1st round pick.  The trade is good for both teams, Blizzard however is one of QB Aaron Rodgers favourite targets and will be missed.  Can backup TE Tony Stewart take over the reigns ?  Blizzard is highly talented and had his best season yet last season with over 700 yards receiving and over 50 catches.  Long time starter Nachi Abe may be relegated to backup with Scotland afer 10 seasons with the team and the last 4 as a starter.

BROWN ON THE TRADING BLOCK ?

Another player rumoured to be looking for a new club is Skyhawks backup QB Travis Brown.  Brown has great skills and had two great seasons to open his career in the FWL, despite not many wins (on a far weaker Skyhawks team) Brown put up some good stats and could be the right QB for a team out there.  One destination could be Barcelona as QB Dameyune Craig enters his final year.

NEW BARCELONA GM

Josh Roberts takes over the Barcelona Dragons and knows the team needs some work, they have an aging QB who despite still playing well is in his final season and a lot of holes on defense.  Look for Roberts to get the team back to winning ways in a hard division, Roberts is a hard worker and should bring great experience to the club.

PAWLAWSKI IS THE STARTER

Another new GM, Gary Schofield Jnr of Ohio has firmly started that Mike Pawlawski is the starter for the Glory.  There were rumours that backup Kurt Kittner may get the job but Pawlawski who took Ohio to the FWL Bowl a few years ago is firmly entrenched as the starter.

LONDON GET A NEW WR

The Monarchs last year lacked any real explosiveness but they recently traded for Sacramento Surge WR Travis Anglin. Anglin is one of the fastest in the league and should help QB Drew Hensons development this season.  Anglin had a great year for Sacramento last season with 97 catches and it was a mild surprise he was allowed to leave.

ARE THE SKYHAWKS THE NEW AUSTRIA ?

Raleigh have gone trade happy this year and now have 3 first round picks for the next draft.  Raleigh have had some very sucessful drafts the last few years and GM Mark Munro is building a very good powerhouse.  He has a franchise QB in Rodgers, finally has his 1000 yard back in Curtis Alexander and has a lot of young talent on defense.  If Raleigh could get some more speed in their secondary the Skyhawks could have a huge huge year next season.  They have strengthened up their receivers with several trades and should do well again this year, the loss of Blizzard may hurt though
