Title: Who gets the call in Berlin?
Post by: jcompton-Orlando on March 11, 2010, 02:18:03 PM
Berlin's going to have to sign a QB to back up Hybl for at least a couple of weeks (Right? Right?) So who gets the call?

Even though the last QB to walk in to a game situation, Curt Anes, didn't exactly impress his first time out, a trade seems unlikely. Call up Burford? Van Dyke? Adamson? Or sign a young QB with an eye towards possibly cutting or trading Hybl later and developing a new backup/future starter? Rowe's youth makes that last option seem unlikely, yet midseason is a good time to pick up young fringe FAs if you can afford the roster space. Leaf's been through a training camp, after all...

Its like real life, Curt Anes comes on board and suddenly Jason Campbell raises his game and is playing the best football of his career.

San Diego draft Philip Rivers as Drew Brees was just 'okay' at SD, the second Rivers is drafted Brees turns into some superb passer at SD
