Title: Ohio Roster Moves
Post by: Gary-Ohio on April 14, 2007, 11:09:45 AM
Columbus, OH - The Ohio Glory have traded back up FB Kennedy for a young HB Moa.  Coach Doug Plank stated that he is very confident in the HB position as Payton is "one of the top running backs" in the league but noted he is very dissapointed in the backup position that directly has "cost us not only yardage but potentially games!"  Plank continued, "We have placed veteran Omar Bacon at the backup and believe that Moa can develop into a fine backup in a short period of time.  Former HB Belton will now be shifted to back up FB where his strength can be used in blocking situations."

The backlog of talent at WR has been dealt with as the Glory traded the talented WR Sheldon for young CB Willie Ford.  "Our team needed some talented youth in the backfield and without many draft picks this year, we feel the addition of CB Willie Ford, with his youth, is the equivalent to a 3rd round pick!", stated GM Schofield

The Glory hope to rebound from last weeks heartbreaking loss and stop a two game losing streal this week.  The addition of the blazing WR Bosley Allen will be interesting to watch as Allen will go against his former team immediatley this week!
