Title: London unhappy despite being 8-0
Post by: Paul-London on May 06, 2007, 03:39:53 PM
Despite being an incredible 8-0 the GM of the London Monarchs is still not happy with various aspects of his team.

"We dont seem to have anyone at WR3 that can hang onto the pass.  We've tried Kassim Osgood, La Shaun Ward and this week Nathan Black will get a chance." said the London GM.

WR1 Travis Anglin and WR2 Triandos Luke seem to get all the passes but no WR at WR3 can make an impression.  Apart from the WR1, WR2 the next WR has just 6 catches.

"We need a good third down WR who can catch passes over the middle, we need to stretch our offense or we'll be found out in the playoffs if we get there" said the London GM

same problem in Amsterdam, but that is a long term problem here. I must admit I do not really see it as a problem as long as my WR 3 and 4 catch more then 70% of the passes.

Often you seem to get WR1 who catches say 85 passes for 1100 yards, WR2 then catches 50 passes for 700 yards and WR3 30 passes for abouit 400.  This year no other WR apart from my first two seem to be catching diddley squat !  Obviously happy at 8-0 but i do wish my WR's would step up, this week is the week of Nathan Black at WR3 !  I'll see what he can do !

I think it totally depends on how good WR1 and WR2 are in combination with the quality of the QB. If I correct the QB's target are in WR1, WR2, HB1, TE1, WR3.

IIt also depends on the game plan, if most plays are only with 2 WR's the possibility is not that big that WR3 sees a lot of action
