Out of all the famous TE's in the FWL there have been some big names, Derrick Bigger, Nachi Abe and many others.

However a surprising name to some people cracked the top 75 , who would be the leading TE of all time ?

It was TE Vincens Rodriquez from Birmingham !  Going by yards his 4,242 yards are 75th all time in league history.  The highest amount ever by a TE !  It has not been noted if his 332 receptions are the highest among TE's but it looks like it is.

Vincens Rodriguez tops the tree in terms of yards and catches.

Great stuff !  Is it possible to see the top TE by receptions for each year ? 

I want to add it to the history.htm page you see, eg

Season 14 - TE Christopher Fear 34
Season 15 - TE Todd Winston 41

etc

Again i never realised how good Rodriguez is but just 11 td's amongst all those receptions !

Yaah, only 11 TD's  :(

Most of the time, we run the ball in the red zone.
And our QB Burford only has 7 TD's, with 3 TD's on TE Rodriguez.


BTW Andrew, on your site it says that BIR has a record of 4-7 this season, this is 5-6

so far the only TE with a 1000+ season

funny detail is that he was not in the pro Bowl squad that season

ok - there was a bug in the script that read in the scoring summaries and it gave 6 points for a safety and other strange things. I shall have to check all the scores to make sure they are all corrected.

Same bug, different result!! The script was not reading the scoring plays in correctly and when it saw "kick" in the play, it assumed the kick was good all the time!

I'll try to correct everything!

And also you then decided to bench him the next year !  I traded for him but he didnt see much action with me.  Shame he had that huge huge year and then hardly anything the next season

Rght chaps, I have gone through all the results and scoring summaries and I now believe the results in the database to be correct. But, if you spot any more wrong results, please let me know!
