Title: A look at the QB's for next year
Post by: Paul-London on June 06, 2007, 07:15:08 AM
New York - Stambaugh had a great year but young Campbell might challenge after trainng camp, Stambaugh probably safe for a year yet
Orlando - Just a year ago Tony Romo was one of the best QB's in the league, should hold a lot of trade value, team looks to be Kingsburys now
Ohio - Pawlawski played well but young John Navarre looked better to many people.  Pawlawski will probably be the starter for one more year
Birmingham - Seth Burford didnt have a great year as his touchdowns were down by a lot, no one to challenge him though

Sacramento - Great year by Rob Adamson, will be the starter next season for sure but Drew Olsen is a good backup and might even be traded elsewhere
San Antonio - Poor year by Michael Bishop, has he finally aged ? Ryan Van Dyke may get a chance but GM Hink is very loyal
Mexico - JT O'Sullivan had a great year, backup Chad Hutchinson is very talented though.  JT should hold onto the job but Hutchinson will be impatient
Raleigh-Durham - Two playoff years in two years makes Aaron Rodgers a legend in Raleigh.  Kittner will hold that clipboard for a long time, could start elsewhere
Montreal - Old man Wuerrfel has done it again, a great year, top seed in the AFC, MVP also.  Backup Ragone will have to wait till Wuerrfel retires.

Frankfurt - Davey had a bad year but many blame his lack of decent WR's.  Veteran Thompson is a very good number 2 but wont ever challenge Davey.
Berlin - Up and down year for Hybl but ended the season with a great game against Frankfurt.  Has no one to challenge him.
Rhein - Young Jared Allen showed some talent, David Greene could be even better.  As for veteran Pegenaute retirement beckons.
Amsterdam - Joe Hamilton has been brilliant for Amsterdam this year but young BJ Symons has a lot of talent, trainng camp battle beckons.

London - Hensons job 100%, backup Daft has the highest INT in the league but will hold a clipboard again
Scotland - Poor year for Craig Nall who was MVP last year.  Should be his job again but has to improve.  Needs a big name WR capable of 1000 yards though
Barcelona - Travis Brown was better than veteran Craig who should retire but only just, Brown has to improve, didnt show that much this year.
Austria - Curt Anes led the league in td's before being rested.  Job should be his 100%, St Pierre did look good, Mauck surprisingly didnt.
Paris - How long can people give Dinwiddie excuses ?  A 4-24 record in two years including losing 17 straight.  Dinwiddie has talent but he has to win

Anes is undisputed, but St. Piere took his chance to be promoted to #2 ahead of disappointing Matt Mauck.
