Title: Special Teams become special again Post by: Philip - New York on November 01, 2007, 07:54:58 AM Punter Mat McBriar woke up this morning without a team. Early this morning GM Phil Schofield released McBriar and signed veteran punter Rodney Williams. After the move Schofield also announced that Jesus Angoy would be taking over the kicking again. "I am getting to know our players better. Angoy has been one of the greatest kickers of all time in the FWL. He will handle the kicking from now on." The Dragons players were glad to see the moves.

Williams is a very good punter... http://www.fwl.org.uk/career.htm#T11 5th all time, just a casualty of people going with younger players. Was second last year in punting ( http://www.fwl.org.uk/sseason17.htm#I11 ) so i'm glad he has a job again. 12th all time in punt yardage |
