Title: Curtis Alexander
Post by: Mark-skyhawks on November 05, 2007, 01:41:41 PM
after two great weeks running and receiving by HB curtis Alexander he is now breaking records and coming close to others
Rushing
Became the 3rd alltime top rusher and is just 25 yds away from moving to 2nd
Receving
Became the alltime top reciever among RB's with 6,833 yds and 43 TD's

looks like a good season for Curtis Alexander so far

Yep hes had a great career.  Stands a great chance of moving past Bobby Phillips perhaps some point next year.  Would be an amazing record to have as i didnt think many RB's would reach that mark as most people bench veteran HB's.  Shame Philips didnt start as a rookie in the FWL (He was in his 3rd year in Season 1) but if Alexander breaks that record it could last a very long time.

Only HB i could see getting close is Payton

Interesting to see.  Last 3 seasons DeMario Brown is the top rusher but is now a backup !

Surely 'HB starved teams' in the league should be queuing up to try to trade for him ?   Same for Phil Stambaugh, previous 3 seasons he has the most td's in the league !

Or could have made offers for HB Corey Walker or a top offer for HB Quentin Griffin.

Yeah i agree, Walker is a proven back and Griffin is a very good young back.

I think theres too many good QB's/HB's in the league so perhaps the next draft or two will be lighter in that department when theres top players around where no ones interested in trading for them
