Title: All-FWL QB Stambaugh requests a trade Post by: Paul-London on November 28, 2007, 12:09:58 PM Last year Phil Stambaugh was the starting QB for the AFC team in the All-FWL clash in Hawaii, the start of the next season hes been holding a clipboard.
Stambaugh last year threw for 3,830 yards, 17 td's and just 4 ints and was named as one of the top QB's in the league and named All-FWL. However the 10 year veteran seems to be part of the veteran benching in New York. Fellow vet WR Jim Turner was benched and eventually shipped off to London and Stambaugh so far has sat on the bench all year and isnt happy. "I know i can start for many teams out there, I wish New York would give me my release or trade me so i can continue my career" said Stambaugh. With QB Jason Campbell playing well it looks like Stambaughs starting days in New York are numbered. |
