Congratulations to Montreal DL Michael Landry (6'3, 308, Southern), who reached 100 career sacks last week, and is 9th alltime.

Landry is in his 9th season, and has averaged 36 tackles and 12 sacks a season, reaching career best 13.0 sacks 4-times ('06, '07, '09 and '12), and had a career best tackles of 52 in 2012.  In 16 career playoff games, Landry has 3 FWL Bowl's, with 44 tackles and 8.0 sacks.

Landry played in 25 games with 23 starts at defensive end and outside linebacker for Southern during his college career. Landry earned second-team All-SWAC honors as a senior in 2001, when he tallied 45 tackles (15 solo), five sacks, 14 tackles for a loss and two passes defensed.

Born Michael Paul Landry (12-12-78) in Baton Rouge, LA. Prepped at Donaldsonville (LA) High. Resides in Shreveport, LA.

Is this the Sports Illustrated jinx???? Now he is O-4, and will miss the rest of the regular season.

Yeah when i saw his injury i thought how unlucky he has been !

Shame his sack totals are down this year (7.0) but obviously because of his injury and missing games.  Still amazing career so far with 7 or more sacks every year and the playoffs for every season of his career !
