Title: Hatchette looking for a record Post by: Paul-London on January 10, 2008, 03:58:39 AM Veteran WR Matthew Hatchette who is having the year of his life could break the record for most receiving yards in a season if he has 101 or more yards in Week 14. Hatchette has an incredible 1554 yards in 13 games and the record set by Jaques Biyong of 1654 is just 100 yards away. Only two WR's ever have had over 1600 yards in a season and Hatchette could break the record.
However his GM might change all of that. With nothing to play for in Week 14 GM Mario Kreiner might start backups to see how they play but fans and coaches alike would love to see if Hatchette could break the record. Hatchette is rumoured to be on the trading block by Austria which would be a major surprise as over the last 5 years he is the best in the league and has a great rapport with QB Curt Anes and surely after this year he wouldnt be traded, would he ? 90,000 fans will pack into Austrias stadium on Monday to see if Hatchette can break the record Title: Re: Hatchette looking for a record Post by: Mario ADK on January 10, 2008, 06:38:38 AM Austria will use backups but will rely on the Anes-Hatchette-Connetion to make history.

Title: Re: Hatchette looking for a record Post by: Paul-London on January 14, 2008, 11:09:05 AM I'm doing the All-FWL teams at the moment. Hatchette is obviously All-FWL
Just checked the records, Hatchette has been All-FWL for SIX consecutive seasons. I think thats an all time record - 6 consecutive years !! Title: Re: Hatchette looking for a record Post by: Mario ADK on January 14, 2008, 11:17:46 AM i threw the all-time-yardage -record away by changing the gameplan, Anes never threw a ball to him except 2 times....
AAAAARGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH :'( Title: Re: Hatchette looking for a record Post by: Paul-London on January 14, 2008, 11:21:23 AM Yeah shame (You and your changing gameplans !)
Must admit its strange as you chose Pass Aggressive so if anything i would have thought you would have passed tons. Perhaps as Jermaine Allen Jnr had such a great game they just kept giving him the ball constantly |
