Title: Pencil in these games to watch on TV ! Post by: Paul-London on February 20, 2008, 04:46:34 AM Week 1 Amsterdam at Barcelona
Good friends Mather and van den Berg meet once again, Mather faces his former team Amsterdam and will be desperately looking for his first win as a Dragons GM as Barcelona are on a 14 game losing streak. Week 9 Austria at London The first meeting between Jason Compton and his former team London. Will Compton get booed in London ? He did a lot for the franchise but re-joining the league and the enemy makes him the enemy amongst London fans. Week 6 New York at Barcelona Dragons fans will want to win this one badly, they werent happy with the state of their team and the 0-14 record, it was even worse when GM Philip Schofield had a job offer which was too good to turn down from the NY Knights and jumped ship, Dragons fans wont forgive him for that. Week 1 New York at Ohio The Schofield brothers will meet twice a year now that both brothers are GM's of teams in the AFC East. Both teams are very talented and should provide some great matches. Week 14 Montreal at Rhein Rhein Fire GM Joe Scanella is a long time GM in the FIFL, a league created by Montreals David Harwood. Now for the first time in the FWL these two GM's meet, their long rivalry in the FIFL is one of the best and a new rivlalry could start here. Title: Re: Pencil in these games to watch on TV ! Post by: jcompton-Orlando on February 20, 2008, 02:14:05 PM Will Compton get booed in London ? 14 seasons with just one division title and one playoff victory? The question is not whether, but "how many days before kickoff will the booing begin"? It's an interesting quirk that it wasn't until you took over the team that there was a London/Austria playoff game. (although I suppose had I won the occasional wildcard game, there would have been more opportunities...) Title: Re: Pencil in these games to watch on TV !
