Title: Surge players are tackling machines
Post by: Paul-London on March 19, 2008, 11:42:44 AM
Sacramentos LB Mark Brown is on target for the all time tackling record.  His career so far...

S11  77t  5.0  3rd on team *
S12  82t  5.0  1st *
S13  92t  2.0  3rd
S14  93t  1.0  1st *
S15  61t  0.0  4th
S16  99t  5.0  2nd *
S17  92t  9.0  2nd *
S18 107t 2.0  2nd

703 tackles in 8 seasons.  To beat the record if Brown played 4 more seasons he would have to average 80 tackles a year.  Its possible Brown will play 13 years in the FWL but he stands a great chance of beating the record.

Another player to look out for is S BJ Tucker of the Surge who has played 5 seasons so far and has 63t, 103t, 102t, 98t and 115 tackles !  481 tackles in 4 seasons !  With 3 100 yard tackle seasons already Tucker could smash the all time record easily and the record for most 100 tackle seasons.  Tucker has also been named All-FWL 4 consecutive times !

Nearly 500 tackles in 4 seasons is one of the best starts to any defender in career history !!
