Title: Hybl gets his job back Post by: Paul-London on April 10, 2008, 03:50:02 AM Last years rookie sensation QB Jeff Rowe has struggled badly this year and after a 0-4 start has been pulled. Berlin have reported that QB Nate Hybl, their former 1st round pick will start for the next few weeks to see if he can improve things.
Rowe has thrown for just 4 td's and 3 ints in a 0-4 start. Hybl a former starter who flopped has thrown 19 td's and 16 ints in his career so far which has been poor but in his last action he took a 3-10-1 Berlin side to a 7-7 record in Season 17 but the drafting of Jeff Rowe sent Hybl to the bench. Hybl did want to move teams but there were no trade offers good enough for Berlin. Hybl on paper is an exceptional player, all bar one of his skills are better than Rowe but Hybl just hasnt delivered on the field and constantly throws too many interceptions. Finally this is his second chance, if he flops the next two weeks it might be back to Rowe and Hybl might be holding a clipboard forever. Considering he was the 12th player drafted in the EOS 12 draft he hasnt done much for his team. This is his chance to bounce back |
