TE Courtney Anderson

Anderson was a surprise 1st round pick in the draft, for combine Anderson because of the flu wasnt 100% and didnt post great numbers.  However SA GM Jason Hink saw something in Anderson which made him draft him in the 1st round and the gamble paid off, in mini camp Anderson has looked superb and could have a long career with the Riders.

S Stuart Schweigert

A former 2nd round pick of the Oakland Raiders, Schweigert joined the Redskins this year but was cut and wasnt picked up by anyone.  He entered the FWL draft where despite a niggling injury Raleigh took a chance on him, it paid off as Schweigert has looked great so far in mini camp.

HB Artose Pinner

Pinner was a former Detroit Lion and didnt post great figures at the FWL draft combine but several teams were interested in him.  Rhein were the lucky team who selected him and Pinner could do well for the Fire.

C Doug Datish

Datish wanted to join the NFL but wasnt too interested in the FWL, his agent persuaded him to try out for the FWL and Datish wasnt at full fitness.  Berlin took a chance on Datish who posted some terrible combine times but the former NFL player has suddenly improved immensely as he realises some good years in the FWL could lead back to the NFL. Datish has improved greatly in mini camp and is the top sleeper.

QB Jared Lorenzen

Lorenzen won a Superbowl ring with the NFL NY Giants but was cut recently and decided to join the FWL.  Its well known Lorenzen who is one of the biggest QB's in NFL history hasnt got great speed but he has a rocket arm for the deep ball and is a highly intelligent experienced QB.  Lorenzen was picked up by Ohio and despite being slow could challenge for the starting role at some point.
