Kreiner applies for "GM-of-the-Year"-Award

I officially apply for this seasons award.

I took over the ADK from the dead, made the best trades, made the best roster moves, took the best FAs always chose the best gameplan, always had bad luck when i was losing, i am very handsome, incredibly intelligent, not short of money, have the best wife, kids and job, have the best fans, i am always polite AND:

I am againts people that applies an award for themself 

I think NY is also in the battle of the award but now I think since last year the award goes to an European and American GM

Well i wont be announcing anything yet.  I do think Mario has a very good case, both Berlin and Frankfurt have done a great job this year as well especially Frankfurt but yes Austria have the best improvement between last season and this year.

In the AFC i would say Adam is practically a dead cert to get the AFC GM of the Year award, i wouldnt have believed back in Week 1 that NY would have the #1 seed over such teams as Montreal or San Antonio.

Well done Mario on winning the division - very lucky! Oh well, being out of the playoffs  gives me an excuse to start Kreinahagen and see what he's made of!

Mario did a good job with ending nr 1 in his division but, all teams in in his division only won one game from the other European division, the only team he beat that is not in his division is Rhein and that team is the nr. 4 in the other European division. Last year I was in the division without the German teams but I beat them all, this year I have proved that my team is more or less from the same quality as Frankfurt and Berlin. I think the GM award has to go to Frankfurt, they only lost 2 times: from Amsterdam and Berlin

Well its a difficult one, i think Mario should get a lot of praise but like others have said hes in the weakest division in football , Marco should get a ton of praise also as Frankfurt look so dominant right now.

After the Week 14 games i'll be sending out an email to everyone to vote for the GM of the year so its up to them but the difference for the win/loss record between this year and last year is also something to look for regardless of how hard/easy the teams are.

Yes Mario might be in an easy division but hes also been the most active GM in the league and has worked consistantly hard to change the roster which seems to have so far worked.

Adam - NY - Amazing achievement to get the #1 seed in the AFC, very young great team
Jason - SA - Another great season by SA
David - MM - Yet another great season by this legendary squad
Marco - FG - Exceptional year, offense is firing 100%
Niki - AA - Despite being in a tough division theyve risen yet again to another playoff spot
Mario - AD - Best improvement from last year

I feel honored, but I dont think I would deserve it this season.
Having such a great offense is to a good part the result of the downgrading
of the defenses all over the league so its not my responsibility.

I think myself that I would have deserved it maybe last season
as after just one bad season and retirements of the great stars
with one good draft I brought my team back to the EFC game !



Right now it is not even clear that i can get that far this season

Perhaps a new award could be created:

"Loudest self-congratulatory GM"

It could even be retroactive, and Mario could declare himself the winner for 13 straight seasons.
