After the most successful season for years, the Paris Musketeers go into season 14 with optimism. After a successful training camp and pre-season work-outs, the starting line-ups have been announced:
QB Kevin Kreinhagen HB Robert Edwards FB Christian Paschman WR Chris Coleman, Bradd Pyatt TE Scott Osborne C Jimond Pugh G Michael Moore (once he has finished his latest movie - Austria Dark Nights, looking at corruption in the Austria FWL franchise), Steve Sciffres T Luke Butkus, Jason Saddler
DE Chris Demaree, Felipe Claybrooks DT Anthony Brown,Jerome Davis LB Devin Lemons, Al Rice, Matt Finkes (new signing from Frankfurt) CB Lamont Brightfull (rookie), Yeremiah Bell S Shawn Mayer, Isreal Byrd
The biggest surprise is the announcement of Kreinhagen as starting QB. There are rumours that the Paris offensive playcalling will be redically different this season, and a change at QB could help. Kreinhagen has matured considerably since his departure from Austria and his well-publicised bust-up with megolamanic GM Kreiner. Another shock is the demotion of Pro-Bowl WR Masato Itai, who is clearly upset and is demanding a trade.
