Anyone got any views on the best 8th round draft pick? Looking through the various drafts, you'll see a list of players who never made it in the FWL. One stands out, however:-
  • WR Kai-Erick Lyck, Montreal
Any others worth shouting about?

End of Season 2 draft:

Round 8: LB Jaime Avarro Ireland (I'm sure he had a great career with Rhein)

End of Season 4 draft:

WR Jason Tucker (Was a true sleeper though)

WR Julian Granier (Mexico) , had 96 catches last year for Raleigh

QB Jim Murphy (Mexico)

End of Season 7 draft

As Niki says QB Phil Stambaugh was the next to last pick in the draft !

Wasnt the final pick that year (HB Patrice Kancel) recently traded ?

End of Season 8 draft

LB Mawuko Tugbenyoh

Final player selected that year, i traded for him, good young player , has 16 tackles and a sack for me

Last years draft had some talent in the 8th round.  Mario has traded for one of them, DT David Nugent and picked up TE Schnee as a FA.  LB Curtis Randall is on my roster still

It proves that you should keep hold of your low round draft picks.
