re: Retirements... "Huge surprise here as Blundin/Barnes/Black will play another season."

And if "Andreas" starts all of them, Can we please move from Montreal to someplace in France or Belgium so we can play them twice!!!!

I love the fact he probably will start all 3 again.  Its great that GM's in the league act differently

Barnes had a huge year last year, Blundin caught some important late touchdowns to win games, Black had an off year but i hope bounces back

Remember just two seasons ago this team went 11-3 and went to the EFC Championship game.  Dont think you wanted to play them then !

I think Montreal counts as part of France, anyway.

Maybe you can swap places with London, which would force Compton to play me in the playoffs at some point- then one of us would HAVE to win!

Imagine the stats:

London       3
San Antonio 0 Final- 17 overtimes

It could be the first game in history decided by a fumble by a 3rd string punter (being that my first 2 were exhausted and removed from the game).

Yes, I realize that he'll argue that the London curse is stronger than my great-offense-all-season-but-absent-in-the-playoffs curse, but you gotta admit that the thought of worn out punters coughing up the ball in the 17th overtime period makes for a more amusing story.

We'll talk curses 3 or 4 SA first-round exits from now. I think after just 3 or 4 I was still young and full of optimism with a fullish head of hair.

this is the funniest thread ever in the history of the FWL-Forum.  Grin Grin Grin

Curiously enough, this is by no means the first time I've been compared to Statler and/or Waldorf (the aforementioned Muppet Hecklers.)

I think I'm on pace to win the 1-upmanship battle though... most of my ignominous collapses seem to be coming from the same guy, the same way.

Perhaps next season I'll sit Alexander out in the playoffs and bring in a 14-year veteran OL guy to tote the ball for me.  I'm sure The Fridge can still be found floating around some not-quite-NFL League somewhere as a surprise gimmick roleplayer... hmmmm.
