Its that time of year again, the playoffs are here !...
San Antonio at New York
The Riders are on a great run at the moment and last week QB Michael Bishop looked back to his best. New York had a great late win against Ohio and start as favourites. The NY offense is awesome and the defense can make big plays, the Riders should be able to keep up with New York scoring points but they need to run the ball better, hes had injuries but Thunder Collins hasnt made fans forget about Curtis Alexander.

Scotland at Austria
Was it the right move last week to bench starters ? Austria were dominated by Scotland and the Claymores played a great game, they'll have to do it again this week though against a toughter Austrian side. However Craig Nall dissected the Austrian secondary at will but they were missing two starters. Could be a great shootout, the DarkKnights badly have to run the ball with Ken Simonton in order to win

Birmingham at Montreal
Injuries for both sides, Birmingham will probably start Seth Burford as he gives them the best chance of winning. Montreal have a couple of injuries but his team knows the playoffs well and there shouldnt be any shocks here. Birmingham can run the ball well though and could cause some surprises.

Frankfurt at Amsterdam
The loss of Jeronimo Huerta is devastating for the Admirals, they do have Joe Smith but hes not quite the same type of back. Frankfurt had their best game of the season last week and the two time defending FWL Bowl champs will want to prove their doubters wrong. Amsterdam have a great offense and defense and the defense should get them through this game. They had a devastating last second playoff loss to Frankfurt last year and will want revenge.

Feel a bit sorry for New York and San Antonio, both have had very good seasons the last few years but cant get that 'monkey off their back' which is Montreal.

You are right, but my pont is that San Antonio looks MUCH stronger on paper than 8-6....
Anyways:
If i had money i wold bet it on NY to make it to the Bowl.
They are sooooooo dominant (350+ points!)

Depends what team turns up, Thunder Collins to be honest hasnt seemed to have done that well since taking over from Alexander, granted he was injured but last year Alexander was the leagues leading rusher and had a huge season and nearly had the first ever 1000 yards rushing and 1000 yards receiving season. Collins has huge boots to fill, but Bishop really lit it up this week, New York vs San Antonio could be an old fashioned AFL type shootout
