DE Mark Word

DE Word enters his 9th season just 8 sacks away from being the all time sack leader.  Word originally drafted by Sacramento has been incredibly consistent over his career and has had 8+ sacks in every year.  His career stats ( http://www.fwl.org.uk/alltime.htm#mword ) show that he is still making plays and there is a good chance Word will be the all time sack leader this season.  His closest active competitor is 8 year veteran DT Paul Spicer with 75 sacks who is 43 away !  Word has a great chance to get the record this year and if he keeps on playing several more years has a chance to perhaps push the record so far that no one will ever catch it.

LB Kinnon Tatum

Even though Tatum is going to break the all time tackles record this year how come this great player has played for four different teams ?!  Tatum ( http://www.fwl.org.uk/alltime.htm#ktatum ) was originally drafted by Austria and traded to Frankfurt where he spent 5 seasons before moving to the Surge where he then came over to London with his GM and some other players.

Tatum has been incredibly consistent during his career, with 3 sacks or more for 11 straight years and 69+ tackles for the last 10.  He had just 69 tackles last year (2nd worst in his career) but the veteran is hoping to bounce back.  He needs just 22 tackles to become the leader and 106 to become the first player ever to have 1000 tackles !
