Ok a coup[le of things to clear up.

First of all the EN In and EN Out columns. When a players gameday EN reaches the out value he'll go to the sidelines to recover, and he'll stay there until his Gameday EN is back to the EN In value. EN decreases (and increases) on a per play basis, so a long Offensive drive will allow your defensive starters to recover - just like in real life. During a game the Gameday EN is reduced per play using a complex formula based on actual EN and the number of plays played as well as position played. The higher the actual EN number the slower it goes down. If a palyer is injured the EN value is reduced for that game, along with other attributes.

Team Defenses, are actually a lot more complex to draw up the chart for as each type of defense can be subdivided into 3-4, 4-3, flex, nickel, dime and goal-lline. Some people would then want the coverages broken down into zone, man-to-man and blitz packages. When i come up with a way of documenting it I shall.

Marco's problem with the Run Aggressive gameplan could be related to the down and distance markers that are used - as well as the vagaries of the random number generator. You still see games where one team runs only 8 or 9 times per game, usually because limitations in the game profile.

Finally, I came up with this idea to see if it would have different GMs trying to recruit (or trade) for different types of players to get some more variety in the FWL. As with one type of gameplan / profile there is only one type of good player for each position!!

Mario as I said I was not sure when a player is replaced. I thought I read somewhere once it was 70 but it could be much lower and I think their will be difference between offence and defence since the skills of all players in offence are much higher then in defence (so automatically also the EN.

But looking at the teams with a winning record:

Sacremento has 2 players active defence players below 75
San Antonio: has no active defence players below 75
Mexico has 4 active defence players below 75
Amsterdam has 4 active defence playeres below 75
Frankfurt has no active defence players below 75
Berlin has no active defence players below 75
Rhein has no active defence players below 75

Actually, Mexico only has two defensive players below 75 EN.
A  LB5    53  Durde, Arden             OK     1     77 77 77 79 45 74 71 72
and
A  S4     20  Rooths, James            OK     3     88 76 80 65 75 73 70 61
One Defensive player is right at 75 EN.
A  LB4    72  Jones, JJ                OK     1     76 76 76 74 69 75 66 63

Early in the season, when Mexico was consistantly blowing leads late in games, Durde and Jones were not even on the team, and Rooths has obviously seen very little action at S4.

The overwhelming majority of defensive players on the Aztecs roster have very competitive EN ratings (except those young players just acquired this season).

It's been a mystery to me why Mexico has blown so many 4th quarter leads over the last 3 seasons, and was the main reason I finally disbanded the team and rebuilt.
