London Monarchs GM

WWW
« on: June 14, 2007, 11:04:38 AM »

The crazy trading might have worked for London who went from 5-8-1 to 12-2 this year but the wheeling and dealing have left London with just one draft pick, their 1st round pick.

"We need to get some extra draft picks as we might lose a few players to retirements" said the London GM.  "There arent many people we want to trade but we may have to trade one of our star players to get some picks/players in return"

If the Monarchs cant find any trade partners and lose several players to retirement the team will have to dip into the free agency pool to bolster their roster for training camp. Most of the talented FA's have been snapped up already so London may take some rookies who have been cut from the draft or some old vets to camp.

"We have our eyes on a few players" said the London GM, "We cant deal with any GM's yet but we are discussing packages/picks internally so we can then offer a good deal to some of the teams out there"
