Ohio at Birmingham

Its that time of year, just 3 weeks left of the regular season and some very important games coming up.  Birmingham could clinch the AFC East with a win at home against Ohio and would be one step closer to the number 1 overall seed in the AFC.  The Fire have won this year with a great defense and great quarterbacking by Joe Hamilton.  Ohio bounced back last week with a win but it could have easily been a loss if it wasnt for a missed FG.  Ohio play well away but the Fires defense is just too good.

Birmingham by 7

Orlando at New York

Its been a bad year for the Knights, young QB Jason Campbell has done well but many fans want veteran Phil Stambaugh.  Injuries have hurt their rushing attack and after starting 3-1 the team have lost 7 straight.  Orlando have played well this year but on the road they are 0-5.

New York by 3

Amsterdam at Raleigh-Durham

Tough loss last week for the Admirals, classic game for neutrals though.  They travel to Raleigh where Kurt Kittner gets his first start of the year.  Raleigh is a tough place to play as despite being out of the playoffs they can cause a surprise.  The Admirals need HB Joe Smith to bounce back to full fitness as he still doesnt seem to be match fit.

Amsterdam by 3

Mexico at Sacramento

Tricky game for Mexico who travel away to Sacramento who have done well at home whereas Mexico have been very poor away.  The Aztecs badly need this one but they need to get their rushing attack improved.  Same for Sacramento, Kory Chapman is very eractic and the Surge need a good game out of him.  Should be close.

Mexico by 3

Montreal at San Antonio

Ditto for the Machine who travel to the Riders who have a young team who have done well this year. Harwood vs Hink is always a classic matchup and Hink would love nothing more than to dent his friends playoff hopes.  Montreal have looked very good recently with HB Ken Simonton playing superbly.  San Antonio bounced back last week with good performances from QB Stoener and HB Anderson and could possibly cause an upset here.

San Antonio by 3

Berlin at Frankfurt

The Galaxy have to rebound from last weeks devastating loss to Austria which they practically had in the bag.  A defeat here would end their playoff hopes, a win would push them back in the race and just a game behind Berlin.  Berlin played well last week to win away in San Antonio and guarantee a winning record.  A win here would practically guarantee them a playoff spot, a great season so far for Berlin under GM Andreas Born.  Frankfurt is a tough place to play in though, it should be close.

Berlin by 3

Austria at Rhein

Rhein havent done much this year, a new GM hasnt changed things around much and the team are the same, losing and not doing much offensively.  The win by Austria last week was a huge spark and they should get a win here to keep up in the playoff race.  Veteran WR Matthew Hatchette is having his best season of his career and could do well here.

Austria by 10

Scotland at London

This is to decide the AFC West.  If London win here they practically will win the EFC West as they will have the tiebreaker over Scotland.  Londons a tough place to play but the Claymores bounced back with an excellent win last week over Amsterdam and will fancy their chances in this game.  Should be a great one.

London by 3

Paris at Barcelona

Tough away game for Paris who are very poor on the road, this is Barcelonas best chance for a win or they might go 0-14.  Barcelona have to make changes as do Paris who need Thunder Collins back at HB.  Paris have surprised many this year and a win here will guarantee them a non-losing season which the fans would love but Paris are poor on the road.

The EFC is an amazingly thight affair this season...
I think i have a fair chance to get into the POs IF i get the "must" win against fading Rhein Fire.

I analysed my situation and have to say my mediocre season is due to trading-mistakes by my side as i traded away 3(!) stating-OL and now my OL is among the worst in the league and my running-game also suffers.

Anyway:
Good to see that Hatchette is destroying records, this is a plus as well as the entire D-line continues Austrias proud record of incredible performance on that position.......

Yeah good point, its hurt your rushing game a lot.

I'm glad you are still starting Hatchette as i know you are often anti-veterans !  Nice to see Simonton do well in Montreal as well.

Hatchette has been one of the best WR's the last few years...

http://www.fwl.org.uk/alltime.htm#mhatchette

Including this year he will have 7 straight 1000 yard seasons.

Will join the 10,000 yard club early next year and if he carries on starting he has a great chance to become the top WR of all time.

http://www.fwl.org.uk/career.htm#T3

Top WR by far this year, should top 100 catches for the first time in his career and is leading by yards quite easily.  Despite several QB changes by Austria because of injury Hatchette has been superb

Har har...
The only reason i still got his is my lazyness to trade. i just was not interested in trading and/or FWL anymore at some point months ago.... With "the old" Kreiner in charge he would not be on my team anymore for sure.....
