London Monarchs GM

London finally have some draft picks this year and its a good thing they have them.  With 5 retirements the Monarchs have 5 holes to fill and so hope every player drafted will be worthy of staying on the roster.

Several years of being trade crazy meant most of their picks had been given away.  For the first time in several years the Monarchs have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd (and an extra 3rd round pick from NY) and a 4th rounder.  For London its essential they draft well with those 5 picks.

Who will London take ?  Their spokesman wont obviously tell anyone before the draft who they are targeting but looking at the team...

- Potential backup RB as two are FA's from last year and age is creeping up with David Allen
- Need a backup TE with only one on the roster
- Offensive lineman as their OL is old with 6 out of the 9 players in their 9th year or more !
- Backup LB as they only have 4 on the roster

London as noted before dont have much depth, they have great starters but no one is really coming through to challenge hence there are a lot of veteran starters.  Mark Word could be in his last season as London are hinting that they would like him to retire after this season, he may have to share time with DE Eric Powell who is finally looking a monster at DE.  LB's look dangerously thin after B.Brooks and Leake as youngsters J.Brooks and Curry are a big drop off in talent.

The good news is that London are settled with a starting QB, HB (not much depth) and WR.
