Birmingham - Great year on offense and defense, faltered near the end of the season with some tight losses to top teams, great set of young WR's and a great defensive line.

New York - Comeback players in QB Phil Stambaugh and HB DeMario Brown, WR Matthew Hatchette another great season, great moves on defense, team to watch next year with its veterans

Orlando - Another team to watch, some trades didnt work out (Nick Burley, Travis Anglin) but WR LaShaun Ward was a great surprise and played very well.  QB Kliff Kingsbury and HB Dee Brown had great years and should be even more improved next year

Ohio - Great year from HB Jarrett Payton, QB John Navarre is their QB now and next year, good showing by the defense, need a big name WR to take the pressure off Payton

Mexico - Great year for the Aztecs despite losing star HB Eric McCoo in the first quarter in the first game.  Ian Smart looked great.  Mexico have a real chance of going back to the final

San Antonio - HB Deon Anderson had a strong year and should improve, a lot of good young players for the Riders with some quality veterans.  Got the makings of a good team

Raleigh-Durham - Some of the changes on defense helped, Charles Hill played well and LB Ishida as always.  On offense injuries hurt the rushing attack, Rodgers needs time to get used to his new young WR's as last years Robert Baker who was their top WR was benched.

Montreal - Long year for the Machine, did lose many close games but finished with a 4 game losing streak.  HB Ken Simonton wants out if he cant start as he was on pace to break the rushing records.  Danny Wuerffel might retire, lots of question marks for the Machine.  Their offensive line allowed way too many sacks.

Amsterdam - What can you say ?  14-0 and a real chance for more history.  Perfect in every area, true meaning of the word team as they play so well together

Frankfurt - Came on very strong late in the year, should be back to the playoffs next year, look out for HB Jason Snelling who could be a stud next year if he has a great camp

Rhein - Good young team who played very well, good veteran pickup with WR Damon Savage.  Tony Hollings had his best year yet, still work to be done but have a great young secondary and should be a team to watch.

Berlin - From EFC East winners to 3-11.  Team totally collasped in all areas.  Avon Cobourne is still a star, Nate Hybl might have won his job back as he was on fire late in the year.  Defense is getting old and needs changes.

Scotland - Great unheralded 12-2 season for the Claymores, played very well and Sandino Octobre is a star at HB.  Improvement on the o-line would help as they had too many sacks.

London - Looked really good the final month of the season where they went 4-0.  Lots of veterans on the team but all playing well.  Want to challenge Scotland next year and could do with Henson/Hall and Sheldon on offense.

Paris - Went from 8-6 to 3-11 and known as the team who lost to Barcelona.  Ryan Dinwiddie had a nightmare year and could be benched a year after having his best season.  Thunder Collins is a great back but struggled as the passing game was so dire.  Defense held up but the offense didnt help matters.  Paris could trade for a QB next year such as Tony Romo or Jeff Rowe possibly, Dinwiddie is young and can bounce back but he was terrible this year.  Paris also need a big name WR though.

Barcelona - Worst team again in the league but finished on a high. QB Tee Martin looks like the real deal at QB, HB Jamal Robertson flourished in the new offense they ran the final two weeks of the season. Some great performances from young players, still need to learn and improve and there will be mistakes but lots of potential.  It'll be interesting to see how Reshard Lee plays in the new offense, for 12 weeks he was stuck in the wrong offense and struggled.
