Season 13 is for sure the year of the TE (And pass catching RB !) but how about this total unknown...

Berlin TE Dwayne Blakley                13 for 273 yds , 21.0 avg,  53L ,   2td

TE Dwayne Blackley is a backup for Berlin, hes seen some action as i'm sure TE1 Fear was injured previously but hes done very well as a backup and is a great #2.

What makes this more remarkable is his player stats...

O  TE2    87  Blakley, Dwayne          OK     1     80 83 82 88 74 79 72 65

He appears terrible ! Slow speed, terrible hands but does seem to play well.  Strange !!!

what´s so terrible about his ratings? he not a top-player, but his ratings are quite well.

btw:
the "outstanding" ADK-defense limited him to one catch

Well against Austria he was a backup TE2 but i think earlier this season he might have been TE1 for a few games.

His ratings are terrible compared to most starting TE's in the FWL, has one skill over 85 and the rest are all under by far.  Check him out next to most TE's and his skills are very low BUT my point was despite that he just plays excellently in the league.  Just proves its not all about the player skills solely out there.  Sometimes a TE at 92 92 92 etc wont put up as good numbers such as this guy

I think the choice of gameplan can influence the numbers for a TE - sometimes the TE never gets any balls thrown his way, sometimes he gets lots. My TE is getting a few catches this year, compared to previous years.

I think people using gameplans is pretty good on the whole, too many RB's with a ton of catches but probably just the gameplan they use.

Great to see TE's get more catches though.  Being the commish i use the default gameplans to prove you can win without them (okay not this season then !) so sadly my TE hasnt many catches

I forgot you were, its good though as it shows to some GM's that you dont need to use gameplans to win.

Its a nice way of changing your offense, eg getting a TE loads of catches (weird why your TE has a lot and mine hasnt though) or your HB's involved more in the passing game but its not all about the gameplans
