London Monarchs GM

After last seasons tough loss Montreal GM David Harwood seemed to suggest there would be many changes.

Many thought Danny Wuerffel may retire before he gets benched but Wuerffel surprised everyone and has decided to play another year , surely his final season as no player has played 16 seasons in the FWL.

Wuerffel could do a 'Brett Favre' (or joe montana) and move to a team late in his career.  There are many teams out there with a poor passing attack and the 38 year old Wuerffel could be the answer as he is the leagues Tom Brady/Joe Montana.  However many GM's are anti-veterans but Wuerffel could be a great stop gap for a season.

Will Montreal trade him or will they keep him as a backup ?  Or even starter ?  It was announced Troy Smith would be the starter this season but he looks raw and David Greene on paper looks to be the best QB in Montreal.

It would be a shame to see Wuerffel in different colours in his presumed final season, either way it'll be a great story to follow this year.
