Sacramento announce starting lineup

After their training camp in Napa, California, the Surge have announced their starting lineups for this season, in a huge surprise QB Todd Bouman is back at QB1 after a great training camp and it looks like promising young QB Rob Adamson will have to wait his turn...
QB1 Bouman
HB1 BJ Askew
FB1 Miller (R)
WR1 Anglin
WR2 Blundin
TE1 Prince
C1 Anderson (R)
G1 Gilbert
G2 Collins
T1 Johnson
T2 Feugill
K Akers
P Moorman
DE1 Word
DE2 Haguza
DT1 Williams
DT2 Sutton
LB1 Brown
LB2 Tatum
LB3 Robinson
(LB4) Ayanbadejo
S1 Riley
S2 Massey (R)
CB1 BJ Tucker (R)
CB2 Tatum Jnr
CB3 Brutley
All in all 4 rookies are starting....
FB1 Ben Miller - Good skills for the young FB, will get an instant chance to play along with BJ Askew for many years possibly
C Bryan Anderson - Has a chance to be the centre for a long long time
CB1 BJ Tucker - First round pick should have a great career
S2 - Sam Massey - Surprise starter, will have stiff competition for the role
The biggest news however is Todd Bouman. All offseason it was rumoured the job was Rob Adamsons but Bouman had such a great training camp and learnt the playbook even better than before (INT now 97 !) Bouman has been given the job. However in this rebuilding season if the Surge are out of the playoffs then Adamson will probably get a few games to play in near the end of the season.
Another big move is the promotion of speedy WR Travis Anglin to the WR1 slot ahead of Norris Blundin the franchise career receiving leader. Anglin has great skills but has never played at WR1 or WR2 so this is a big year for him.
The Surge also have made the strange choice of taking two punters and two kickers with them this year. "We dont want to risk losing either as a FA" said GM Johns. Both Moorman and Akers are at the top of their profession but are both in their 9th year and P Dorsch and K Kibble will be the future starters.
Its a strange year for Sacramento, they are playing a lot of young players, some people think that Bouman should not play as they are in a rebuilding year but some people within the Surge organisation think a new blend of old and younger players could give them perhaps a playoff spot in the tough AFC West.
