This is defenitely the underdog-season:

Ohio is going all the way inthe AFC
Austria is dominating the EFC after a 7-7-season
London coming back from a 4-10-season
The strong teams in teh AFC drop out in the playoffs...

The only constant factor was Frankfurt BUT you must admit it was a rather up-and-down regular season.....

It was for Paris - lost first three games, then won 7 of the next 9 (including the epic victory over Austria), then threw away the last two games and missed the playoffs.

up and down ?

It was nerve wrecking and sometimes too much to watch (or read ;-)

I would say in 3 of 5  losses one play going the other way would have given me a win.
But in at least 5 of 9 wins one play could also have given me a loss.

The same in the playoffs.

So I agree part is luck, but part is also having all the right pieces together.

Therefore I am sure that Austria will reach its goal for next season.

....which is what you deserved after beating me and destroying a potentially perfect regular season. SHAME ON YOU!!! Boooooooooooooooo...............

You could have been proud by saying "Paris was part of the first ever perfect season in the FWL by beeing beaten against Austria".  Grin

(But in fact i was beaten by Scotland so devastating in week 14 i rather think that i would have lost even with all my starters. Beeing beaten at 13-0 in week 14  against one of the weakest teams in the league: THAT would have been cruel to me..... So i rather "thank you" for winning against me...)  Cheesy
