QB controversies ?

New York
Surely Phil Stambaugh is the undisputed starter ? Last year he was league MVP and had a great year, brilliant QB but has failed in the playoffs. With a new GM who is high on Marcus Crandell, Stambaugh might demand a trade if he is benched
Orlando
Tony Romo or Jon Denton once again ? Romo on paper has great skills but cant hold down the starting job, Denton is a legend amongst Orlando fans. Last years top pick who was drafted 2nd overall Kliff Kingsbury needs a good training camp, could be the starter next year.
Ohio
Mike Pawlawski was a great trade for Ross Mather. An excellent QB he lacks some great WR's. Two young backups John Navarre and Kurt Kittner are very good and might take over from Pawlawski in the future who is in his 8th year. If Kittners ST and INT improve then he will give Pawlawski a fight for the starting role.
Birmingham
Seth Burford had his best year yet last season taking his team to the AFC Game. Burford has great skills but needs to throw more touchdowns. Backup David Ward has great intelligent but is more suited to a backup mentor role. Young 3rd stringer Andy Hall could take over from Burford in the future.
Sacramento
Jake Delhomme was a surprise to start for the Surge last year. At times he played very well but not in the middle of the season when they had a 5 game losing streak. Backup Rob Adamson has great skills and is regarded as better than Delhomme by many people and is only in his 5th season. Delhomme might have one more chance to start this year but as hes in his 11th season it may be his last.
San Antonio
GM Jason Hink is very loyal to his QB's and Michael Bishop should start till he retires. Bishop took the Riders to the FWL Bowl last year where they lost in a close game. Backup Ryan van Dyke is very underrated and could start for other teams, should take over from Bishop in the future.
Mexico
JT O'Sullivan on paper looks a great QB but he seems to struggle in Mexico and his time may be up. Chad Hutchinson performed well since coming over last year and probably will be the starter. Another former starter in Mexico Robey Williams is a good player but will remain a backup.
Raleigh-Durham
Last years overall number 1 pick Aaron Rodgers had a quiet start to the season but played well when the team acquired RB Curtis Alexander. GM Mark Munro did mention a rumour he may trade Rodgers though which would be a huge surprise. Backup Jarious Jackson had a chance to start full time but after 2 starts didnt show enough promise and Rodgers got the job back. Travis Brown is a waste as a 3rd stringer, several teams including London tried to trade for Brown but the price was too high. A great scrambler with an erractic arm Brown can play very well and had some good seasons previously for Raleigh.
Montreal
Danny Wuerrfel has 3 FWL Bowl rings to his name more than any other QB but now enters his 10th year. Wuerrfel is very intelligent and should start all year but doesnt throw for a ton of yards in Montreals offense. Backup Dave Ragone impressed in his one start last year and will take over from Wuerrfel at some stage in the future.
Frankfurt
Rohan Davey had an off year last year but the blame falls at his WR's as he hasnt got a quality #1 WR to throw to. He is the undisputed starter by far, backup Kevin Thompson is a good veteran player who started one year for Ohio.
Berlin
Former 1st round pick Nate Hybl finally gets his chance now that Pat Barnes has retired. Hybl has a lot to live up to though as Barnes finished his career as the top QB statistically of all time. On paper Hybl looks good but needs to play a full season so that scouts can really see if hes up to the job or not. Backup Jason Gesser is a risk as the main backup, he needs some work.
Rhein
Dani Pegenaute is very underrated , hes one of the most intelligent QB's in the league but now enters his 10th season. He should start this year for sure but backup David Greene might challenge him for the job next year.
Amsterdam
Heath Rylance is a legend in Amsterdam and the Admirals were unlucky not to get to the FWL Bowl last year after a heartbreaking loss to Austria. Rylance should return at QB, backup Joe Hamilton isnt as intelligent as Rylance but is more athletic. Rylance despite being in his 11th year is very intelligent and commands his team very well.
London
With Todd Bouman retired the job looks like it belongs to BJ Symons. Symons played well at times last year in a few late season starts and shows some explosiveness. The team recently signed FA QB Shedrick Bonner who will be a great veteran presence and could even start ahead of Symons as hes an excellent intelligent backup. If the team arent sold on Symons look for them to draft a youngster or to trade for a QB such as Travis Brown as they have tried to in the past.
Scotland
Craig Nall is now firmly entrenched as the starting QB in Scotland with Jonathan Quinn now the #2. Nall had a great year last season and after several Nall/Quinn battles the jobs Nalls for sure now. 3rd stringer is clipboard holder Kevin Daft who is the most intelligent QB in the league with 99 and despite being in later years could do a good job for someone.
Barcelona
Who will start for the Dragons ? Chad Hutchinson was traded last year and two veterans Alli Abrew and Dameyune Craig will battle it out for the job this year. Abrew has done well the last few years as a backup with London and Austria and is regarded as the top prospect in Barcelona. Craig however is one of the top passers all time in the league and despite being in his 12th year and probably final season he has great skills. 3rd stringer Tom Arth has intelligence but is a standing duck in the pocket.
Austria
The DarkKnights have a host of great QB's. Curt Anes was the FWL Bowl MVP last year and despite all the pressure on him to win it last season he came through with flying colours, he had his best game ever against the Admirals in the playoffs. However GM Mario Kreiner does make some shock decisions and even though Anes is the starter he might be benched if he has any poor games. Backup Matt Mauck is excellent and could start for many teams out there for 10+ seasons. 3rd stringer David Priestly is also very good and its a waste either Mauck or Priestly will be inactive for most of the season.
Paris
Ryan Dinwiddie came over in an expensive trade last year from the QB rich DarkKnights but did enough to suggest hes the man for the future. GM Micheal Kavanaugh has a QB now for the next 10 seasons to build around. Backup Matt Lytle played well last year and is a quality veteran backup who could also start if required. 3rd stringer Kelvin Eakin is a RB playing in a QB's body, the team are in trouble if he has to start.
