Dear FWLers,
the DarkKnights proudly present their
starting lineup for season #16
. As you will see there are just minor changes, even if the team got together in TC and added some skills in crucial positions:
QB: Curt Anes
Anes is unchallanged but BJ Symons had a nice TC and will get the advantage over Matt Mauck as regards QB2....
HB: Ken Simonton
FB: David Allen (***new starter***)
Simonton is most likely the key-factor of winning the Bowl last season, whereas David Allens long journey for a starting-position is finally over, thus putting Sultan McCullough himself on the HB2 spot. Not a good TC by most of the RBs (*edit*) apart from #3-overall-Rookie Jermaine Allen who had a perfect "re-run" in TC and added nice 5pts to his ST-rating.......(*end of edit*)
WR: Mathew Hatchette
WR: Cecil Moore
TE: Ben Watson
Both are unchallanged in Austria. As Bell is gone it is Antonio Brown who moves to the WR3 spot with a lot of young and talented players covering the spots WR4-7....
C: Barry Byrd (***new starter***)
G: Jon Dorenboos
G: Zach Wilson (***new starter***)
T: Lucas Brigman
T: Rob Murphy(***new starter***)
This is the hardest part: With 3 starters gone, ADK needs to find new momentum for its offensive line. While Rob Murphy already started from time to time last season, the call for Barry Byrd as Snapper is risky, as well as former backup Zach Wilson gets a starting position at Guard. ADKs young backups had great TCs but all in all it seems that the OL is the main point of concern for Kreiner.....
DE: Buck Rasmussen
DE: David Nugent
DT: Lauvale Sape
(DT: Thomas Pittman)
What a terriffic TC by all of the members of one of Austrias strongest units! All players - both starters and backups - virtually exloded with sensational ratings. Should be the unit to watch this season. Heavy competition within the 8 DLs....
LB: Fred Barr
LB: Rikiya Ishida
LB: Nick Mc Neil
(LB: Ray Wells)
A fine unit, still going strong and much faster than last season. Should shut down every run that comes toward them. Great TC by all of them with large improvements at the right areas.....
CB: Ernest Shazor
CB: Lamont Brightful (***new starter***)
S: Shawn Mayer
(S: Earthwind Moreland)
Moreland is fast but loses his starting-position to Lamont Brightful and is switched back from CB1 to S2 despite a good TC. The backups are closing in but still need to wait for their chance. ADKs defensive backfield is probably the best unit in FWL-football and the key to winning the leauge.
The DarkKnights are also the first team to publicly speak out their
goals for season#16.
The ADK-Management announced the following goals. The goals are ranked from "nice to have" up to "the BIG ONE"....
1) Defeating Amsterdam in every game
After the "Efrem-Hill-Show" that saved last season there will be a lot of tension in the games. Amsterdams GM Niki will be hot going into the games. Those are the games Kreiner loves to win..... Especially in the POs....
2) Defeating Frankfurt Galaxy in every game
Tired of many many losses against Frankfurt in the PO-rounds Kreiner seeks revenge and tries to hand the Galaxy loss(es) this season. As Kreiner is knocking at Marcos door regarding best-GM-record overall, these games are crucial for Kreiner. Especially in POs - if it comes down to this clash again.....
3) Defeating London in each and every game....
It is ADKs duty to blank out their arch-rivals..... Explanation Point.
4) EFC-WEST-Divisional-Title
FOURPEAT, BABY!!! After season #13-15, Kreiner is looking for the second four-peat in his rather short career as GM.
This is my main goal this season.
Get out of my way, folks!!!!!!
5) Back-to-back EFC-Championships and FWL-Titles....
It will be tough but it CAN happen. I wouldn´t mind if i don´t make it, though....
Cheers!
