Week 14 Preview

And so the regular season is about to close, this year all the playoff teams are determined, still places to fight for, players to fight to set regular season records and new players wanting to impress their GM's....

Ohio at Orlando

If Ohio QB Kurt Kittner has another dream game then he may become the starter next year. With a rushing attack Orlando looked good last week and at home where they are 3-3 (0-7 on the road !) Orlando could be tough.

Mexico at Birmingham

Could have had huge playoff tiebreaker implications but now its two teams hoping to make it to .500. Some highs and lows for these two teams, Mexico look very good this year, HB Eric McCoo is one of the top rushers but somehow the team lost a lot of close games, same for Birmingham.

New York at Sacramento

Despite winning the AFC East the Knights have looked very poor stale and old this year and no one is expecting them to do much in the playoffs. Sacramento should have won last week against Ohio but blew it by forcing a pass late in overtime. The Surge have played well this year and have a great defense which could surprise the Knights.

Raleigh-Durham at Montreal

Game of the week, Raleigh-Durham come to Montreal to fight for the AFC West crown and also homefield advantage. Both GM's have done a great job this year, Raleigh in past years have surprised Montreal away but the Machine are 6-0 this year. It could be the master vs the apprentice as veteran QB Danny Wuerrfel faces one of the best young QB's in the game Aaron Rodgers.

Berlin at Frankfurt

Frankfurt were dominant last week against Rhein and will look for a big win here. Could be Berlin GM's Andreas Borns last game in charge, however Berlin have looked good in recent weeks, Nate Hybl has finally shown he can be a good QB but winning away in Frankfurt will be tough.

San Antonio at Amsterdam

Admirals QB Joe Hamilton has been a breath of fresh air since taking over the starting role. Amsterdam have defeated Austria and Frankfurt the last two weeks and if they field a strong side this week they could beat yet another playoff team.

Barcelona at Rhein

After being whitewashed last week by Frankfurt the Fire will want to bounce back but they face a tough Dragons side who have played well this year despite being in the tough EFC. Barcelona were unlucky not to win last week, could be veteran QB Dameyune Craigs last ever game. Craig has had a great year and will want to go out with a bang.

Austria at Scotland

The score doesnt matter so what will both teams do ? Rest their players ? Keep momentum ? With 3 injuries on the d-line ultra careful Austrian GM Mario Kreiner might rest all those players so expect Scotland to run over Austria and tie the all time FWL record for regular season wins.

London at Paris

Paris are a team who can really move the ball but have no defense. Paris QB Ryan Dinwiddie could set a league record for regular season passing yards as he already has over 4000. London surprised Barcelona last week and will want to end this season with another win. Rookie QB Drew Henson has been brilliant but HB Joe Hall very disappointing which has led to their losing season.
