Columbus OH - New Ohio Glory Head Coach and former Buckeye Doug Plank and GM/Owner Gary Schofield Jr. met with the local press outside Ohio Stadium yesterday to reveal the plan to "Return to Glory".

Plank stated that QB Mike Pawlawski will be the starting QB for the upcoming FWL season.  "Mike has done too much for this club to not give him the opportunity to lead us back to the playoffs.  Mike is one of the top QB's in the league and it is my responsibility to build a scheme and provide protection to allow those skills to help us win"

GM Schofield said that backup QB Kittner was disapointed in the outcome and has asked for a trade, "We will actively pursue a trade for Kittner but if there are no suitors, we will be glad to have such a quality QB on our roster."

Plank also stated that new OL coach Bob Kronenburg has re-structured the line moving Dion Meredith to T, and Joey Hollenbeck and Justin Bland to G.

Another big change is the move of DT Derrick Crawford to DE to support star Michael Josiah.

GM Schofield added, " We still have a lot of holes at TE, G, T, and DE and need to find players to fit our new scheme."  Schofield also stated the Glory will be looking for a game breaking WR and a speedy LB.  He would not reveal his plans for the upcoming draft stating only, "We will take the best players on our board, we need to improve in every area in order to compete in this league."
