London Monarchs GM

Training camp is about to happen and could determine a lot of changes for many teams, here could be some of the best battles/changes...

London - HB Joe Hall

Hall had a great all round season with over 700 yards rushing and 10 td's and 94 receptions but failed to give London a great rushing attack, Hall needs to get better speed and strength and needs to do far better on the ground than his 2.8 average last year, the Monarchs have high hopes for him but if Hall fails this year then look for London to get a new HB.

New York - QB Jason Campbell vs Phil Stambaugh

Campbells inexperience last year might have cost the Knights the playoff game when he threw a late interception.  Phil Stambaugh returns from injury and was FWL MVP just two season ago.  Stambaugh should get the starting nod but if Campbell has a good training camp he could challenge Stambaugh for the job and who knows who GM Jon Houston will choose.

Ohio - QB Mike Pawlawski vs Kurt Kittner

The new Ohio GM says the starting job is Pawlawskis but if Kittner has a good camp he could change his GM's mind.  Kittner played well last year when Pawlawski was injured and with Kittner entering his 3rd year and Pawlawski his 9th then Kittner might get the job soon.

Sacramento - QB Rob Adamson vs Drew Olsen

Poor Sacramento, last year they gave the starting job to Rob Adamson and 2 quarters later Adamson was gone for the year and back came Delhomme.  Delhommes time is up and he'll go back to being a backup, however Adamson rehabbed well in the offseason and is fully fit again, then what happens, the Surge draft a 1st round QB.  Adamson should get a chance this year to finally show what hes got but with the Surge rebuilding then they might not lose much by starting Olsen.

Mexico - QB JT O'Sullivan vs Chad Hutchinson

O'Sullivan seemed to make the starting job his own last year by finally playing in all 14 games and having a good season, however much is expected from Mexico this year after so many years or promise, Hutchinson was the player traded from Barcelona where he expected to start.  Both players are very similar in skills and it may come down to who has the best camp.  Hutchinson after some promising games in S15 didnt throw a pass last year but badly wants to start.

Raleigh-Durham - HB Curtis Alexander

Alexander had the best ever season by a Raleigh RB and indeed one of the top performances of any RB ever in the league last year as he rushed for over 1000 yards and caught over 100 passes for nearly 900 yards.  However all that work seems to have caused a lot of wear and tear on Alexander, in Season 15 with San Antonio he had SP and AC of 93 and 92, a year later with his trade to Raleigh it dropped to 91 and 91, now after last season and all that work Alexander has slipped to 89 and 90 !  His speed has gone down a lot in the last two seasons and Alexander badly needs to have a good camp, if Alexander doesnt improve his speed much Raleigh could struggle with their rushing attack.

Montreal - QB Danny Wuerrfel vs Dave Ragone

If you need a new young QB in the league Ragone could be one of the best, Montreal are excellent in bringing along young QB's and did a great job with Wuerrfel and Ragone could be the next big thing.  Ragone is better than Wuerrfel in most areas apart from of course one of the main ones, INT and DI.  Wuerrfel has amazing intelligence and Ragone has to get better in that department, he has a ton of talent and will only get better.  Wuerrfel is now in his 11th year and Ragone his 3rd, Wuerrfel will surely be the QB this year BUT if Ragone has a good camp then you never know.

Berlin - FB Butchie Wallace vs HB Avon Cobourne

Cobourne on paper looks to be one of the best running backs until you see his strength, Cobournes only 5 foor 7 and cant withstand a pounding in the FWL.  Butchie Wallace is (or was) one of the best secrets in the FWL, he has great all round skills and if he has a good camp and gets 90+ skills in some areas then Wallace might move back to HB and become the starter, he has a lot of talent and could do well.

Rhein - QB Dani Peganute vs David Greene vs Jared Allen

Rhein actually have some talent at QB but the question is who to start.  Pegenaute was one of the most consistent QB's the last 5 seasons until last year.  Every year he had a 100+ rating until last season where the whole team bombed.  In his place came Jared Allen but Allen didnt do much and there could be more changes, backup David Greene didnt throw a pass last year but has developed well in the offseason and could challenge to start.  Pegenaute has exceptional intelligence but is in his 11th year, who will start in Rhein ?  Could all come down to who does what in training camp.

Paris - HB Robert Edwards vs Moran Norris

Norris is an unknown to nearly anyone in the FWL but he could be the new starter in Paris, Robert Edwards once a high named 1st round pick has slowed down badly in recent years thanks to a terrible o-line, Edwards needs to have a good camp or may get relegated to backup duty.  Paris really need a new young HB if Norris is the best they have to offer but he may surprise.

I´d like to add one:

Austria:
HB Simonton vs. FB allen vs. HB/FB Mc Collough....

The race for 2 starting spots is going to be a nailbiter....

Yep good one there.  My moneys on McCullough, hes very young, similar skills to Simonton and if he has a good camp could become the HB1.  Simonton is a great veteran, 7th all time in rushing and has averaged 1000 yards the last 6 seasons, his season by season stats...

Did have a poor season last year stat wise but still a great veteran back, hopefully he wont be a backup but then again there is a lot of talent at the HB position in Austria
