Teams in need of a HB

To win in the FWL you have to have a good rushing attack, looking round the league there are teams with a firm starter at HB1 and others who may be hoping a young gun has a good year or they may have to trade for a new back....
New York - DeMario Brown probably will start again but young Quincy Wilson could be the surprise package in the near future
Orlando - Big question mark at HB, Mike Green is getting slower but has good strength, young Dee Brown has speed but is too small to be an everydown back
Ohio - Jarrett Payton - one of the best in the business, needs a good showing from his o-line though who were dire last year
Birmingham - On paper Lee ReShard is excellent, great all round skills, needs his line to be better though
Sacramento - BJ Askew really has to make it big this year, has talent but the Surge have Chapman and even Holm who have talent and could challenge
San Antonio - Thunder Collins is one of the best and has tremendous all round talent, should start for many years to come
Mexico - Eric McCoo had a breakout year last season, could still face a challenge from FB Maurice Hicks for the HB position if Hicks has a great camp
Raleigh-Durham - Curtis Alexander had a huge year last year but it seems to have taken a toll, all the battering has slowed Alexander down, needs to rebound
Montreal - Could be the year oft-injured RB Corey Walker loses his starting job to talented young Quentin Griffin
Frankfurt - Jonas Lewis has talent but is getting up in years, the Galaxy hope one of their younger backs improves in camp
Berlin - If Avon Cobourne had strength he would be a great starter but hes too lightweight, FB Butchie Wallace has a ton of potential
Rhein - If your best back is Bongo-Wanga then your in trouble ! They need top pick Tony Hollings to have a good camp 100%
Amsterdam - Joe Smith has emerged as one of the top backs in the FWL, the Admirals have good depth also with rookie Sha-Ron Edwards
London - The Monarchs need Joe Hall to get some more speed and improve in camp, Hall has talent but is still raw
Scotland - Mike Malan looks as slow as ever but did the job last year for Scotland, young Sandino Octobre a former flop has developed well and could take over next year
Barcelona - A wealth of backs but who will be the starter ? Jamal Robertson has a lot of talent but needs a better line, Marlion Jackson was a former starter for Austria
Austria - Ken Simonton is a great veteran, Sultan McCullough has great potential as do David Allen and Jermaine Allen. A wealth of talent here
Paris - Robert Edwards looks to be on his way down and Noran Morris is an unknown. Paris need to trade for a big name RB and get him started asap

I hope Alexander does improve, had an amazing season last year and a huge reason why you made the playoffs, its like the NFL, he had so many carries/receptions he seems worn out !

Edwards had a strange kind of year last season - running was terrible and he only had one good game. But, catching passes out of the backfield, he was revelation - 103 catches for 1152 yards, 5 TDs. And he set a new single-game receiving record with 256 yards against Amsterdam in Week 9. Paris need a replacement, as he is getting old, but he probably got another season in him!

Yeah good point, i think the great year he had receiving and the big plays hes had proves that hes not actually 'past it'. Looks like the main problem was his offensive line, he must still have the skill/power/speed as shown by all those receptions he had.
Also if the team cant run they obviously pass more and as Paris also trailed a lot they played catchup and threw for a lot of late yards.
Plus the offense system theyre running may be all wrong, throwing that many times to the HB doesnt sound the best offensive system
But yeah good point, i messed up by not looking at the receiving, Robert Edwards had incredible records for a RB receiving last year, IF Paris can fix their o-line and perhaps go for a new offensive scheme Edwards might do better running the ball which is key to winning in the FWL
