Columbus, OH - Although many are questioning the return to QB Mike Pawlawski, Glory Head Coach Doug Plank shrugs off the detractors.  "They complained before the season started and even after it started, there seems to be a group that falls in love with younger guys.  Make no doubt, Mike Pawlawski is our leader.  Period."

Plank went on to defend backup Kurt Kittner, who has stated he would like an opportunity to start somewhere.  "We believe we have the finest backup in the league in Kurt.  He can and eventually will start in this league.  He is currently 3rd in the league in passer rating and has led us to two quality wins", Plank commented.

"However, we would gladly give Kurt the opportunity to start in the league, in fact, we are shocked we have had no interest in Kurt.  And I mean NO interest.  We love having him on our team now and for the future of our team.  But if someone was to offrer a value draft pick or young player, we would not hesitate to give Kittner the opportunmity to display his talents.", Plank continued.

Glory GM Schofield added that there has been only one offer for Kittner and it was not appropriate for his level of player, "He has to be considered equal to a 3rd rnd pick or higher or at least a young (4 years or less) player in return"
