Well the first week or two after the downgrades we had a lot of big rushing performances but we still surprisingly had a fair few sacks.

I would say the passing game is still too potent (eg 72 % completions) but overall its not like the Arena League.  At the moment i would say its pretty good apart from QB completion.  Rushing yards / receiving yards etc are slightly above average which i want but nothing too crazy, eg we dont have 200+ rushing yards in one game by someone every week etc.

We've had some good long runs which pad out the stats a bit but i think the downgrades werent bad at all.  Still a fair few sacks and ints

I would say that the least realistic aspect of the FWL games is the lack of turnovers. In the NFL, on average, a QB throws one interception per game, but in the FWL it is closer to one every four games! Also, there are not many fumbles. Maybe the HB and WR 'Hands' ratings need downgrading?

In all other aspects, the stats look very realistic - much better than the days when nearly every punt was either blocked or returned for TD!

Yep those early years were awful with players such as Aundray Bruce or Steve Emtman blocking 20 punts a year !

Interceptions never seem to happen that often in these sorts of leagues, granted the INT could perhaps come down, twice in the last 6 seasons we've had QB's with 0 int seasons which has been very odd.

There was the whole thing about Matt Lytle as well, remember his fumbling ?? So strange as on paper his HAnds were very good and the Centres HAnds werent too bad, just one of those 'strange' things in the software i would say !

My view on the fumbling was that his HB was too fast - the HB was too close to the QB when he hands off, and so they botch the handoff.

Lytle did well with Paris before finally appearing.  In Davids league theres also one QB who is fumbling a ton, way more than any others.

I had a little play with my version of FBPro where I gave my HB speed of 99, acc of 99 and ag of 99. He always managed to be in front of the QB before the QB had managed to hand to ball to him - the QB then would either try to shovel pass the ball to him, or drop it!

I used to play against the computer in a league but was tough.  I purposely gave my HB 99 99 99 skills, only could run a few plays well, a short screen always was great but trying to pass to the WR's was tough.
