1 ORLANDO

Great trade for Orlando last year as they received Barcelonas 1st round pick which turned out to be the top pick in the draft !  17th against the run on defense suggests they may go for a LB.  HB Dee Brown has been poor so far in the FWL but he does have excellent talent and after training camp could be the starter they want.

2 RHEIN

Rheins new GM has his first ever draft for the team after taking them over late last year.  He has a lot of holes on Rheins team, QB has been a disaster for the franchise and after seeing Jeff Rowe rejuvenate Berlin last year the Fire could go for a new signal caller.  The defense surprisingly ranked 7th last year but the offense was dead last and the worst at passing the ball.  A new QB or WR Peter Warrick would make sense.

3 RALEIGH-DURHAM

Injuries and close games killed them last year.  They had the 3rd best offense overall and the 10th best defense but their rushing defense was 14th.  High picks along the d-line havent panned out that well lately so look for Raleigh to stay away from a high drafted lineman and perhaps go for a LB or secondary player as their CB's and safeties arent the fastest bunch in the league.

4 ORLANDO

Its like Xmas and a birthday rolled into one for Orlando who have their own pick in the top 5.  Many are predicting Orlando to be a team to watch in the future as they are very young and have talent.  The sensible pick says defense but they could solve that with their top pick, this pick could be for the best player available regardless of position.

5 NEW YORK

Important pick for NY who slumped last year after being a perennial playoff team.  The defense played well but the offense did slump, injuries to their HB's hurt them last year and at one stage they were down to their 3rd string HB !  On paper the Knights have a great offensive line and HB Gerald Riggs Jnr looks set to take over the starting position so they should be far better this year.  Defense was good last year but their secondary could do with some speed and an injection of youth as 4 of their players are in their 7th year or more.
