WR Jahkeen Gilmore, CB Marcell Allmond (LON) for CB Willie Ford, WR Burt Toler and 3rd and 4th round draft picks (Ohio)

Marcell Allmond the speedy London CB who has started for the Monarchs the last 3 years was traded to Ohio this week.  "We really like Marcell (Allmond) but felt the trade offer was too good to pass up, Allmond hasnt been received well by fans but thats because teams dont throw at LeSuer and Allmond is the target week in week out.  Hes done well but we felt we needed a change" said the London GM

London also traded last years 3rd round pick WR Jahkeen Gilmore who was inactive all year and hadnt impressed the staff at training camp.  "We had eyes for Burt Toler last year so we were happy to get him in a trade, Toler has worked with the NFL's Oakland Raiders in the past and we know the staff from there are very high on him".

London also picked up young CB Willie Ford and switched him to a safety.  "We feel Ford has a lot of potential, he'll be our backup safety this year and we'll see how he does in camp next year where he could challenge for a starting role or be a quality backup for us"

London also picked up two draft picks and are looking to get some good rookies in the next draft.

"You know we love wheeling and dealing, we havent finished trading yet and look for us to be active in the offseason, my aim is to bring a championship to London and I need to work out the final pieces of that jigsaw."
