After some very exciting games the playoff scenario is a lot more clearer now.

Already in the EFC the playoffs have been decided...

Berlin at Austria
Amsterdam at Frankfurt

Over in the AFC its a bit more confusing !

New York have the #1 seed as they have defeated both San Antonio and Montreal and so even if they lose in Week 14 they are the #1 seed and have homefield advantage.

The remaining teams in the hunt for the playoffs are...

Montreal 8-5
San Antonio 8-5

If both teams above remain tied (8-6 or 9-5) then the Riders will win the AFC West due to beating Montreal earlier in the season.

If Montreal win they get the AFC West, if San Antonio lose AND Orlando win then the Thunder will go through and the Riders will be the last ranked playoff team in the AFC.

If Birmingham win (7-7) and Orlando lose (7-7) then as the series is tied 1-1 i think it goes to the divisional record in the AFC East and Birmingham would edge Orlando to win the last playoff spot IF Ohio also lose !!

The way it stands at the moment is....

Orlando at New York
Montreal at San Antonio

However Week 14 has some huge AFC games....

Orlando at New York- New York could potentially end Orlandos playoff hopes
Ohio at Montreal - Montreal are in the playoffs but are fighting to win the AFC West, they would need a win and SA loss to do that.  Ohio meanwhile need to win to be 7-6-1 and hope Orlando lose. If they do the Glory are in the playoffs.

San Antonio at Birmingham - If Birmingham win and Orlando and Ohio lose then the Fire are in the playoffs.  If San Antonio win they win the AFC West and #2 playoff seed in the AFC.  If they lose and Montreal lose they are still the #2 seed and the AFC West champions. If San Antonio lose and Montreal win then San Antonio would drop down to the #3 position and would then face Montreal away in the playoffs instead of at home

sorry Paul, Frankfurt is not thru with it.

I assume I have won (cannot access the FWL page from work)

However if I loose next week vs Rhein and Berlin wins
then Berlin and Frankfurt have same W-L
we are 1-1 head to head
AND
I am then 3-3 in my division
and Berlin is 4-2 (they lost once against PAR)

So Berlin would win the division and Homefield for all playoff games !

With the very special relationship between Rhein and Galaxy this is
still a very important game !

@Niki: that would be very nice.

I will see all the stats etc this evening however in this special case I can hardly wait to read thru
the plays and see how the game was played.

Only if its not inconvenient for you, thank you ! Smiley

Yeah sorry Marco good point about the final weeks games.  I forgot Berlin beat you earlier in the season.

Pity most of the playoff spots are sewn up in the EFC, if Barcelona werent upset by London then they could have been in with a shout in the final week.

Some huge games still in Week 14, should be good and i cant wait to update the player pages !  Got a few more to add now
