That sounds right. I seem to remember Levi coming in mid-season.

I also remember making my very own Musketeers Homepage (the first dedicated homepage for a FWL team!) - it had a picture of the Eiffel tower on the homepage, which you could click to get game results and the roster.

I also remember putting together a webpage.  (I've just checked, it even still exists http://www.ags.uni-sb.de/~sorge/fwl/)
I also remember being accused of plagiarism and fighting with your Fortran77(!!!) program.

I even had an Offensive and a Defensive Coordinator once. It was a rather chaotic affair. I don't remember their names though. Is one of you still in the league, or anyone else remember their names?

I met one of them once in Edinburgh, before a Claymores game in the pub where the Claymores fans used to meet (the Cambridge or was it in Cambridge street?). He was serving there that night, which meant a free pint for me...
I also remember meeting Paul that night.

Did you get the program to work? If I remember correctly, it took the FWL roster and generated the starting line-up in HTML - a bit revolutionary for the time? And there's nothing wrong with Fortran! It's much better than Pascal.

My Musketeers homepage has disappeared from the York Uni webserver. never mind.....

It was the Cambridge bar - I've met a few FWLers in there, including Paul

My greatest memories of the inaugural season:

1. I wasn't actually playing in it

2. Mario was quieter

I put it through a f2c compiler and it worked fine then. I probably still have it lying around somewhere. And of course it was revolutionary... in particular doing it in a language that is called Fortran77 (!!!!). Very modern.  (I won't comment on Pascal!)
