Well im happy with a good win for Barcelona and the revamped run defence giving up less than 30 yards and recording 10 sacks
Looks like there are a few surprises in store this season!!

yes, really a strange start to the season....
The unspeakables from the Island going 2-0 in impressive manner, boy oh boy the "FWL-Classic" will be huge this time....
Rhein finally at "full strengh"? Unfortunately i have to face them in week 3 in D´dorf
The Knights are HUGE!!!
Mexico heading for the playoffs? Or even more?
Frankfurt, who? (but they will bounce back, that is for sure....)
Paris, who?
And all those major injuries...... frightening.... Should be some trading-activities by this....
Good season ahead.....
And hey: Ohio is stronger than you think.

Two O-20s in as many weeks, when we normally don't get injuries that bad in an entire season? Did everybody put in Astroturf over the offseason or something?

I'm glad we didnt do any defensive adjustments or any other adjustments to bring players injury levels down.
I think its 'just' one of those seasons but yeah two O-20 injuries in two weeks is worrying ! The biggest injury to me is Montreals HB Corey Walker. With BJ Askew now in Sacramento (not doing much i admit !) it looks like its either a rookie who will get the call or veteran Lawrence Phillips who might do an 'Ottis Anderson' and have a great late season in his career.
Good move by David for keeping Phillips though as obviously in this situtation it looks a great move now.
As for Thabiti Davis i hope someone grabs him !! He would be a great WR2 for you Jason, Brim is just being amazing right now but no one else has done much. At 2-0 you probably dont stand a chance of getting him but i do hope some teams put in requests for Davis. I hate seeing quality vets like him on the shelf doing nothing when theres a lot of deadwood around the league starting.
If you do send me a London article i wont be able to post it until i'm back so perhaps write one for the forum. Your 2-0 start so far is exceptional !

Just for the records:
Game 2 of season #14 marked GM Kreiners 100th regular-season-game as GM of the Austria DarkKnights.
After 100 games he records 65 wins, one tie and 34 losses.
Currently (after week 7): 70-1-34
Not sure though but i "tink" i am currently 2nd in the all-time-(active)-GM-List behind incredible Marco Lambert.

you you are correct on that fact, so your stats must be:
75-1-38 0.658
I double checked:
you played play offs in season 2,3,4,5 and 13, your play off records in those seasons are:
2 1-1
3 3-0
4 0-1
5 1-1
13 0-1
Total 5-4

you played play offs in season 2,3,4,5 and 13,
what a time-span....... 8 seasons!!!
Good to see that i will have back-to-back seasons with playoff-appearance. And if i could i would bet on season 15 and 16 as well as i won´t have any starters retired and will become even stronger due to BIRs pick and whatever TC brings.
BUT:
Season 16 is my projected "MUST WIN IT"-season. I have been working for many months to set up a team that can dominate the league and always had the focus on a future climax instead of just "making the team better". And - if ever - that will happen in season 16.
After that i will start to re-invent ADK from scratch.....

haha after my fisrt season the fwl (nice 2-12 season, the best victory of that season was in week 14: beating London so they missed the playoffs) after that season I had one goal: bring the Admirals in teh play offs
Now I have done that twice, I decided during the season to make my team younger so i will be ready for teh future

Well Mario you do have the makings of a very good team, the defense is very good nowadays, offensively you still seem to have problems. Your last 6 games you've won by 9 points or less, that could easily be 5 wins and 4 losses.
But again the sign of a good team you could say would be to win the close games. You have the great defense, if your offense was stronger then you would be awesome, however changing WR's and QB's week to week doesnt always help. I do find that in the software if you have a consistent team out there then they seem to do better rather than swapping week in week out. Your offense is ranked only 14th, out of 18 teams for a 7-0 team thats bad !
Still theres 7 games left, your offense still has time to click into gear. Hatchette i thought was always one of the best WR's in the league, last year he was awesome
Moving around your o-line i say would help, at the moment that combination is opening up no rushing holes at all. Anes is playing well but 6 td's in 7 games ? Hatchette is having a great year but i would play him at WR1 and not swap with Moore at all like you did earlier in the season.
Look at NY, very consistent and not many changes. Make changes if you are 0-7, if you are 7-0 then things are good and you dont need as many changes just a few 'tweaks'.
Its only the halfway point of this year, on one hand i dont think your team is very very strong like a FWL Bowl champion but on the other hand your team could be misleading as they havent played a game where they are firing on all cylinders. If that Austria offense clicks into gear then you would have an awesome team. Like you say maybe a year or so away from really really dominating. Sounds crazy saying that when you are 7-0 but too many of your wins have been too close

i agree to EVERYTHING you said, Paul.
ADK is by far NOT a FWL-Bowl-Contender, even at 7-0. 7-0 is clearly not reflecting the level of this team. But hey, i must say i am pleased that we are 7-0 because i think we already hold this seasons EFC-WEST-trophy in our hands.
The reason i made those changes is simple: It is fun to see how other players do, it is even more fin to play backups AND STILL BEAT LONDON :-) etc etc....
i would not do it if i was 4-3 or so. never. but at 5-0, 6-0 7-0 nothing bad can happen. i won´t have a 14-0 season so i do not care if i finish 13-1 or 9-5. As long as i win the division. Which i defenitely will, even with a stonger London-side and with Paris catching up.
And hey:
<) EFC WEST ist 6-3 against AFC-teams
<) EFC WEST is 5-4 against EFC EAST teams
Jason, Ronnie, Andrew and Stuart: WE TURNED OUR DIVISON INTO A VERY COMPETETIVE ONE. Congratulations!
:-)))

Yep thats what i like about the FWL, it takes a few seasons but the strong divisions can change quite often, i mean a while ago MON, SAC and SA all were going for 10-4 seasons and it was such a tough division for Mexico/Raleigh.
Now the strength is still in that division but like you say the EFC West is strong again with AUS, LON and Paris. Even BAR and SCO can play some very good games so its a very strong division.
Be amazing to see one day if a team can go 14-0, go on Mario , do the records and go through the schedules seeing what team has come closest ! Sure Montreal started off 11-0 one season . I have to find out now.... !!... (This isnt wins from season to season, this is wins from each season)
Season 1 SA 8 wins to start the season
Season 5 Austria 8 wins to start the season
Season 6 Austria 9 wins to start the season (Only defeat that year was in overtime !)
Season 7 Rhein 10 straight wins to start the season
Season 12 Montreal 8 straight wins to start the year
So Rhein hold the record with 10 straight wins !
So far New York and Austria are 7-0 !!!
NY's games coming up...
A Orl
H MON
H OHIO
A Sac
H ORL
Tough game away in Orlando, winnable though, then home against Montreal in the big game, homefield here helps a ton. Winnable game against Ohio. Good chance to get to 11-0 IF they get past Montreal
Austria....
A Barc
A Paris
A Ams
H PAR
H LON
H FRA
A Sco
3 tough away games in a row, Barcelona is winnable, Paris could be tough and also Amsterdam.

I´m not out for the record and my team has not the strengh to get 12-0 anywyay. And i´ll be defenitely starting a ton of backups soon (Dinwiddie might probably be starter again ...).
Sorry, Paul, but i won´t push my team into injury-trouble just because of this record.
i am 3 and 3,5 games ahead. no need to push it to the limit...
